Members of the Midwest Quartet Association

Hi Y'all!

We received word a few weeks ago that we have been accepted into the Midwest Quartet Association (yes, this blog announcement is behind - sorry!). We filled out an application last year and were so happy to hear the news! Years ago when we were first starting as a band, we dreamed of possibly applying for membership, so this is a neat step in the Great Adventure.

P.S. This is unrelated, random, but pertinent to our family band: a friend shared with me (thanks Amy!) that a photographer, Eric Vest, for the Lake Itasca Family Music Festival recently posted pictures of the fest on his blog, and if you do some scrolling, you'll spot us in his photo collection (look for people in orange, an accordian, and a weird sepia picture toward the bottom of the post! :) )! Click here to view the photos, and if you go here, you'll find a few more photos of different members of the family (again, just look for the orange outfits!).

Congratulations! I'll check out the pictures in a minute.

I've set my computer's desktop background to loop through a few dozen photos of friends, so I'm always keeping my eye out for new ones to add to the loop. :)

Daniel: Thanks! Hope you enjoyed the pictures; we did, despite some slightly weird faces on our part! :-D
